Hi, I'm Ken.

I'm a founding partner at Makespace and Flightpath Ventures, building startup communities and innovation spaces.

As an educator-turned-entrepreneur, I offer a unique perspective in developing founders, builders and leaders in communities. From starting my first venture as a fourth year university student, to organizing founder-led communities like Startup Edmonton, to building physical innovation hubs like Platform Calgary and Elko Engineering Garage, to shaping national initiatives like Startup Canada Communities, and mobilizing capital into cities through venture and real estate funds - I provide over 20 years of insights exploring the intersection of technology startups, talent communities and city building.
